While many of my weekends are dedicated to my wedding couples, I photograph actors, professionals, speakers, and personalities during the weekdays in my studio. For more information about headshots and model comp cards check out my commercial site, PoseWell.com.
Jennifer and Brock were married on New Year’s Eve surrounded by family and friends at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Jennifer had such a striking, classic Hollywood look and was absolutely stunning the entire evening.
They wanted to have a wedding with a reception that was a great party and they totally succeeded, with everyone staying well past the ball drop in Times Square to dance and wish the couple well. I definitely had a great time ringing in the new year with Jennifer, Brock, and their guests.
Yaremi and Carlos were married on a rainy day in St. Augustine. Luckily for the couple and the guests the Basilica and the Casa Monica are only a short distance from each other, so they were able to stay dry. We were also lucky enough to get a small break in the heavy rain to get some shots outside of the hotel with some of St. Augustine’s festive holiday lighting.
Yaremi was every bit as striking as she was for her bridal session and together they were a beautiful married couple.
There was some concern when Yaremi’s bouquet didn’t make it to the car but it was resolved with a phone call.
Audra and Andy’s seaside wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island incorporated the natural beauty of the area and the class and elegance of the couple to make an absolutely picturesque wedding. Their story and some background on their wedding’s style can be seen in a four-page spread in the Spring/Summer 2010 issue of The Knot Florida.
If you have a chance, please go pick it up. It’s on newsstands right now!
The team from Collab Creations Films put together this behind-the-scenes video that is so cool I really thought it stole the show.
Thanks again to everyone involved in the shoot as well as Style Me Pretty for giving us Inspiration to Reality as a venue for our creative effort. I had a great time and hope to do it again soon!
The event designer, the incomparable Liza Chung, just blew me away with the level of detail and creativity she brought to the challenge, as did cake designer Jaycel Adkins of the Etiquette of Chocolate and Chef Michael McMillan of Opus 39 Restaurant & Food Gallery in St. Augustine.
Liza’s said this about the shoot and the ideas she drew from the inspiration board:
“We chose the board because we are drawn to all things luxury and fashionable. We adored the Vera wang gown and authenticity of the styling with vintage frames. The florals spoke softly of winter and we love beautiful jewels and couture shoes. The board allowed for our own interpretation to expand to a realm of high style bridal fantasy.”
Here is the set she designed along with the food displays from Opus 39 and Etiquette of Chocolate.
The custom fur envelope was created by Liza. The invitation is from the Vera Wang Collection.
