The cover shoot for Jacksonville Luxury Living magazine was already a great start, but December has turned out to be a really exciting month for me because I’ve been able to see my work in so many different magazines.
Grace Ormonde Wedding Style featured my picture of one of Etiquette of Chocolate’s incredible cakes in its Spring/Summer issue.
Then Nicole and Luke’s TPC Sawgrass wedding in Ponte Vedra was in The Knot.
Today I just received the premiere issue of Southern Weddings magazine and Arjola’s bouquet was included in their article on flowers.

You may recognize the model, Kelsey. I’ve photographed her a few times over the past two years. Since I first photographed her she has signed with agencies in Miami, Orlando, and New York.
She had been traveling a lot recently but she came into town to do a test shoot with me and give me the opportunity to run my new equipment through some paces. I always love working with Kelsey because she’s got a versatile look and knows what she’s doing in front of the camera!
I had a great team for this shoot. Jackie Neal did the makeup and Grazyna Mercado (Salon d’Orsay) did the hair.
Here’s a shot of the setup and team.
We went for a demure look for these shots, something completely different from the first set.
Kelsey wanted some natural, almost raw headshots. No retouching was done on these!

One of my favorite engagement shoots from late 2007, Mary Kay and Mike, is featured at AreWeMarriedYet.com.
The site is a Modern Photographers portal that showcases images from great photographers all over inspire engaged couples with stories of other couples and advice from professional wedding vendors. Definitely check it out if you get a chance.

I just wanted to announce the launch of my new and improved commercial site POSEWELL.COM.
For those of you that didn’t know, this is my full time gig and during the week when I’m not shooting weddings I’m photographing models, headshots for actors, speakers, and performers, and doing corporate shoots.
I also wanted to give you a quick update: I have a lot of big and new exciting projects coming up so make sure you stay tuned to this blog. I split my wedding work into its own site a while ago, but I have been doing a lot of commercial and editorial work, headshots, and comp cards and have decided I’m going to start sharing those shoots on here as well!

Amelia Island, FL
Ceremony & Reception: Walker’s Landing, Amelia Island Plantation
Make-up: Jackie Neal
Dress: Reem Acra
Kara and Chris were married in an outdoor ceremony next to the water in Amelia Island.
For the couple it was actually a destination wedding, so all of the family and friends from out of town were treated to a beautiful Northeast Florida sunset and evening. Kara is a scientist who works in the Everglades, so her cake had an Everglades grass decoration and the base was an actual log. It was one of the most unique cakes I’ve seen.
