I’m really excited to see my Summer Fashion editorial feature in the June 2009 issue of Jacksonville Magazine. I had an awesome production team and some beautiful wardrobe and accessories from fantastic local boutiques like Emly Benham, Rosie True, Jaffi’s, and Thompson’s Fine Shoes.
Here are a few shots that didn’t make it into the spread but I still love them. The Valentino bag and Mui Mui shoes are a must-have!

Courtney and Bret live in Baltimore but decided to have their wedding in Courtney’s hometown of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
One of the things Courtney loves about visiting home is being near the beach, so for their wedding they had a glamorous and elegant beach theme that fit with the stunning new Plantation Club.

Ceremony: Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine
Reception: The White Room

Sarah and Rimas picked the perfect day to get married in St. Augustine, Florida. The weather was absolutely gorgeous! After the ceremony they took a beautiful carriage ride around the city, drawn by a white horse.
The day was filled with Lituanian wedding traditions. The guests almost brought down the house with the polka — I could literally feel the entire dance floor shake as everyone danced the night away.

Sarah and Brent were married in historic Avondale, at Sarah’s father’s home in a wedding that was full of Southern charm. The ceremony took place on the front porch of the home and the reception was under a gorgeous tent beside the home. During the ceremony guests were treated to a short history of Sarah’s family’s roots and long history in Jacksonville.
Brent probably gave the best pre-wedding gift I’ve witnessed to date. He surprised Sarah with a note that said “Every second… Every step… I love you” that was paired with a stunning watch and a beautiful pair of Christian Louboutin shoes!
And they all knew how to do the “Stanky Leg” dance!
They had a cigar bar at the reception.

Ashaki and Embry came into town for their engagement session and they were absolutely ready. As a couple they have an elegance and style that really shines through.
They will be married this summer in Jekyll Island and I know the wedding is going to be fabulous.
