Amelia Island, FL
Last week I was invited to document an event at the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island for upper echelon event planners and media from major markets along the East Coast.
It was really amazing to see such a spectacular venue pull out all the stops and showcase some of their most exciting options for its clients. The Ritz had amazing complete setups of mock ceremonies and reception décor for us to see in each of their areas, including the newly constructed ballroom.
As we toured each setup everyone was greeted with a signature cocktail! Not only was the decor stunning but all the food was just beautiful. Here are a few images from the event.

Here’s what Abby had to say about “Inspiration to Reality”:
We had such a blast with our From Inspiration to Reality Challenge that we’ve decided to make it a regular feature on SMP! We have vendors lined up from now until February who are super excited to turn your inspiration boards into a real life photo shoot, complete with tons of inspirations and ideas that can be translated into a perfect wedding. Leading up our next team is Agnes Lopez, a brilliant photographer out of the Southeast. Together with Liza Chung (event designer and florist) and Eric Torres (cinematography), the team is going to choose their favorite Style Circle inspiration board to bring to life!

Ashaki and Embry’s gorgeous Crane Cottage wedding is featured today on Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book blog.
From Embry and his groomsmen’s formal attire to Ashaki’s pink Kate Spade shoes to the fabulous tent where they held their reception dinner, there is no question that they had amazing style.
